Liverpool get Real Madrid contract offer WARNING over Rio Ngumoha
Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha had made a sensational start to the season - scoring the winner in a Premier League game against Newcastle on matchday two.
The England youth was aged only 16 when he scored that last-gasp goal - but has since turned 17. It means he is now entitled to sign a first, professional deal with Liverpool having previously been on scholar terms.

That contract is reported to be expiring in 2026 and as yet there has been no official word over a new deal.
It’s expected that Ngumoha will put pen to paper on an initial pro deal and, once he turns 18, the winger will then sign a proper, long-term contract which will secure his future for the club.

Liverpool are very excited about Ngumoha - opting to sell Luis Diaz in order to make space in the first-team pecking order for the former Chelsea youth.
Rio Ngumoha has the world at his feet
But it hasn’t stopped other clubs from sniffing around.
Indeed it’s been claimed from Madrid that Real Madrid are now keeping tabs on Ngumoha’s situation.
Citing the player’s admiration for several Madrid greats - including Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe - Defensa Central claims Ngumoha may well be tempted by a contract offer at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid 'closely monitoring' Ngumoha
“Real Madrid, as it usually does with all emerging talents, is closely monitoring Rio Ngumoha's progress,” the report reads.
Ngomoha signed for Liverpool from Chelsea’s academy in 2024. It was seen as a controversial deal at the time with Ngumoha the brightest talent that the Blues possessed in their youth ranks.
It’s clear that Richard Hughes’ plan for Ngumoha is working perfectly - while other Chelsea prospects face with getting lost in and around the first team or else sold to meet PSR obligations.
Ngumoha instead is a Premier League player aged 17 - and has got the world at his feet.
There’s next to no chance that Madrid get anywhere near this teen sensation - but any potential jitters Reds fans may have over losing him should be put to bed once an announcement comes on that new contract.
