Liverpool will reportedly seal another major transfer in the next two days. Florian Wirtz isn't the only one arriving.

We all know of one transfer that should go through shortly: Florian Wirtz. Fabrizio Romano claimed on Tuesday night that this one was a done deal after Bayer Leverkusen verbally accepted Liverpool's latest offer.

That offer being around €150m with add-ons and representing a new club record transfer. By far, too.

Now, some reporters claim that's premature from Romano. They suggest this isn't quite a done deal but there's also a unanimous sense that this one will go through eventually.

We shouldn't be waiting around too much longer before everything is finalised and Wirtz plays for Liverpool. Then again, we thought that over a week ago, too.

But to Liverpool's credit, this isn't the only deal they've been working on. In fact, it likely won't be the only deal they complete this week.

Liverpool to seal Milos Kerkez deal

Journalist Diego Otero claims Milos Kerkez to Liverpool should be finalised this week. He suggests this one is so far along that everything will be wrapped up before long.

And that's certainly the sense we've gotten from other places. Anfield Watch exclusively revealed the Reds' initial preliminary talks to sign Kerkez back in November and things have moved along nicely since.

The Hungarian international went on to have a magnificent campaign for Bournemouth, solidifying Liverpool's interest. The likes of Romano and just about everyone else, honestly, suggest this is all advanced.

Liverpool want a new left-back to offer a long-term successor to Andy Robertson. That won't be Kostas Tsimikas, who is widely expected to leave Anfield this summer.

Kerkez, though, is one of the brightest left-backs in Europe and offers exactly the kind of quality Liverpool want. They've been working on this deal for some time and if Ortega is correct, we're only days away from that confirmation.
