Forward confirms Liverpool deal is VERY close
Liverpool are in a state of limbo right now. Work is being undertaken behind the scenes to finalise heavily rumoured transfer moves, meanwhile the fans are convinced the deals are done.
No one knows what the situation actually is, and this is all happening with the backdrop that the transfer window is no longer open. It closed on Tuesday and will not re-open until Monday June 16.

What has been confirmed so far is that Jeremie Frimpong is a Red, as that deal was finalised at the very start of June and so the fans have nothing to worry about when it comes to his move.
Then we have Florian Wirtz, who has received the 'Here We Go' from Fabrizio Romano, despite most other reports, such as those from David Ornstein at The Athletic and Ian Doyle at the Liverpool Echo, all claiming that we're actually in the 'final stages' of the deal rather than any sort of completion.
Alongside that, you've got the state of play regarding Milos Kerkez which has taken a major back-step since the Wirtz news. Everything seems to be heading in the right direction, despite the radio silence on his situation, and one of his teammates might have just confirmed the move for us.
Kluivert confirms his Bournemouth teammate is moving
After the Netherlands' 8-0 win over Malta in a World Cup Qualifier last night, Justin Kluivert spoke to the Dutch football news outlet Voetbal Primeur about his Cherries teammate Milos Kerkez.
He said: "He'll probably go there [to Liverpool]. I hope so for him. He hasn't really said goodbye yet, but I hope he'll make it happen there."
So if you're unsure on Kerkez's situation, then don't be. His teammates are well aware of what's happening.
The player has hardly been quiet about his excitement to join the club, often being caught liking posts about Liverpool on social media. His agreement on personal terms has been done for a while.
But we know that Bournemouth relied on his brilliance last season and so a fair price will have to be paid if the Reds are to snatch him away. His replacement will also need to be organised.
So while we're waiting for negotiations to conclude and for the formalities to be completed, we can rest assured in the knowledge that no other club is evenly remotely close to getting in our way.
Kluivert has already made peace with the fact that he will be playing against Kerkez rather than with him, and he is confident that the move will work out well for both parties.
For now, we're resigned to the waiting game, although a rather stress-free one at that.
EXCLUSIVE: Wonderkid will join Liverpool first team in pre-season
As mentioned earlier, the transfer window opens again on Monday June 16, so you can add that to your calendars for a rough date as to when things might start to finalise, but even if Liverpool take until the end of June, three transfers in one month is a particularly brisk pace for recruitment.
