Dutch wonderkid's future plans are music to Arne Slot's ears
It seems as though Liverpool and the Netherlands are intrinsically linked.
The Dutch manager Arne Slot, alongside players Virgil Van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch make it the second most common nationality within the club, behind English as you would expect.

Furthermore, Jeremie Frimpong has also been brought in this summer, taking the contingent to five. Watching the Netherlands' national team a few weeks ago was just like watching the Reds.
However, Liverpool are attempting to utilise this connection to their advantage in securing one of the standout young players available on the market, who also happens to be from Holland.
Jorrel Hato is 'in no rush to leave' Ajax
The young centre-back cum left-back has been subject to a lot of transfer speculation this season, with Liverpool in talks to sign him, amidst interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and a number of other clubs.
At just 19 years old, he would be the perfect addition to any team, delivering standout performances while learning from the senior players' expertise and wisdom to help him to lead the line in future.
He recently spoke out, reported by Tribuna.com, and affirmed his love for his current club Ajax.
He said: "Ajax is home for me. I just feel at home here.
"The smartest thing is to look at it per season. That's what I do."
Of course, this is not confirmation that he will definitely stay put this summer. According to Duncan Castles on The Transfers Podcast, Hato is of interest to the Reds - who could offer him a deputy slot at both left-back and centre-back.
Liverpool will need to act quickly to not let him get away. With interest coming in for Andy Robertson and Jarell Quansah, a player of his talent, potential and profile would be the perfect player to solve our current issues.
Even if Liverpool don't end up with Hato this summer - and he stays put - that would STILL be a significant win for Liverpool now that Arne Slot's former assistant John Heitinga is there.
We could have a player learning from a man who knows Slot's system inside out for a year at Ajax, preparing him for a Liverpool move.
In 2026, he could join as Ibrahima Konate's contract would be up and Virgil Van Dijk would be one year older and closer to the end of his career. Hato would become a key figure.
Of course, anything can still happen this summer, but if Hato remains where he is for the upcoming season, then Slot's former counterpart would then have a direct influence on his development.
