Fabrizio Romano confirms an offer has been made after Liverpool talks. Things could now move quickly.

We're now in the final week of the transfer window and Liverpool have got a lot to get through. They're eager to sign Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi in what would be massive deals for the club.

Exactly how likely those are isn't clear, however. Newcastle United don't want to sell Isak without signing an adequate replacement, for one.

Crystal Palace do want to sell Guehi but only for a lot of money. Liverpool would rather wait until his contract expires than pay a fortune, it seems.

That's hardly all on the agenda, though, as the Reds also need to move players on. The squad is full of stars who could depart this week.

And one of them has now received an offer - but Liverpool are set to reject it.

Liverpool receive Kostas Tsimikas offer

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that AS Roma want to sign Kostas Tsimikas. They've even made an offer - however, it's for a loan.

Romano says they've made the approach to Liverpool and that Tsimikas wants to join them. The Reds aren't currently willing to let him leave on loan, though.

They're chasing a permanent deal for the left-back. It's understandable, too - he's now the third-choice player in his position and incredibly unlikely to ever improve that standing.

It's also said in the tweet that there are multiple clubs interested in Tsimikas so we do wonder if Liverpool get their way here. Still, if he's only interested in Roma, the power is suddenly theirs.

There isn't long to go in the window, so Liverpool will need to sort this one quickly. Tsimikas is a good player who would be very useful to most teams but the club will want to find the best possible offer.

Hopefully, for everyone's sake, that's a permanent one.
