Forward hands in transfer request amid Liverpool links
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed a forward wants to be on the move and has handed in a transfer request.
Richard Hughes has done an astonishing job at Liverpool so far. The club's sporting director is not done yet, though.

In order to accomplish his mission this summer he still wants to add two missing pieces to the Liverpool jigsaw.
One of those is a centre-back, with Liverpool desperately needing a new addition after Jarell Quansah left the club for Bayer Leverkusen back in June.
The other position is a forward, where Liverpool have made it clear that their dream target is Alexander Isak. The Swede has been on the club's radar for some time and it's also clear he would like to move to the Reds.
Whether the move happens, remains to be seen. It's a situation that is developing every second.
Undoubtedly, Liverpool will also have alternatives, just in case they miss out on Isak. That's because after the departure of Luis Diaz, and the expected departures of Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez, the Reds would be otherwise a bit thin of attacking options.
Right now, if all three were to leave, Arne Slot would have just Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Hugo Ekitike and Rio Ngumoha. You could add Florian Wirtz to the mix but he's someone who is better playing deeper in the no.10 role and that's the position the Reds signed him for.
So, if Isak cannot be done a potential alternative option may end up being Ademola Lookman. He's been linked with a move to the Reds already this summer.
Anfield Watch understands there is indeed interest in the forward from the Reds.
Now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed on his X social media platform that Lookman has handed in a transfer request and wants to be on the move this summer.
Could this push Liverpool towards making their interest more concrete? Only time will tell, but it's clear that Lookman is going to be on the move.
At this moment in time, Inter Milan seem to be the frontrunners for his services but don't rule out a move from Liverpool just yet.
On paper, he could be a great option. Lookman is a fantastic one vs one player and he's very good at converting his chances.
He's also homegrown, which means that he'd fill a much needed void in the squad with the Reds having lost and are set to lose even more homegrown players this summer.
