Liverpool favourite WANTED to replace World Cup winner
It promises to be a summer of big change around Anfield. Despite winning the Premier League title, head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes are not standing still.
The club are eyeing up several reinforcements with no shortage of players linked. Jeremie Frimpong looks certain to be among the first arrivals, with Florian Wirtz also tipped for an Anfield move.

There are changes coming in the goalkeeper department too as Giorgi Mamardashvili is on his way from Valencia. The 24-year-old Georgia international completed an initial £24m move last summer but remained on loan with Los Che for the season.

He will come into the club in order to provide competition for Alisson Becker, who at 32 might not have long left at the top. It means a big summer awaits Caoimhin Kelleher, who has long expressed a desire to become a No1 in his own right.
Time for Kelleher to move?
The Irishman has played perhaps more than he might have expected this season owing to a couple of injury-enforced absences on the part of Alisson but a deputy role is not enough to keep him at Anfield long-term.
With only one year left on his contract, Liverpool will need to cash in on the youth team graduate this summer or else risk losing him for nothing.
Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham and Bournemouth have all been linked with the title-winner but now a new team has emerged on the radar.
Aston Villa identify Kelleher
Fichajes in Spain is claiming that Aston Villa have got Kelleher lined up to replace the outbound World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez.
Martinez, 32, is widely expected to depart this summer, having effectively waved goodbye to Villa Park following the victory over Spurs on Friday.
The latest report from talkSPORT indicates that the Argentina international is wanted by both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid, with Villa looking for around £40m for a player contracted until 2029.
It would be a shame to lose Kelleher, who has been a loyal servant for the Reds.

However, with Alisson and now Mamardashvili moving ahead of him in the queue on Merseyside, the Ireland international needs to go somewhere to achieve the regular first-team football he requires.
