Named: THREE Liverpool stars who will be sold this summer
Liverpool have just been crowned Premier League champions but Arne Slot and Richard Hughes are not standing still.
Plans are afoot to replenish the Reds’ first-team squad and there are no guarantees for SEVERAL newly-crowned title winners.

Liverpool require upgrades in several positions and that means sales are imminent. With FSG largely operating on a one-in, one-out basis during transfer windows, it’s expected that some star names will be moved on.

Bids could well be heard for the likes of Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez as a new No9 is sought. And in defence, we’ve read reports of Kostas Tsimikas, Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez potentially leaving.
However, some fringe players could also be at risk with Hughes and Slot seeking to raise as much money as possible.
Morton, McConnell and Doak to be sold
Some prime academy talent could be made available - with any incoming proceeds counting as “pure profit” and providing a sizeable cash boost in the market.
According to one report in Rousing the Kop, THREE academy stars on the cusp of the first team are likely to be leaving.
“Tyler Morton, James McConnell and Ben Doak are understood to be candidates to be moved on,” reads a report in RTK.
McConnell impresses Arne Slot
Morton, 22, was tipped for a big season having returned from a successful loan spell at Hull City last term. But things didn’t work out under Arne Slot, with the midfielder finding first-team football hard to come by before getting injured.
Bayer Leverkusen were interested last summer while Middlesbrough were reported to have made a bid in January.
If McConnell is to be sold, then it would be somewhat of a shock. Slot was known to be impressed by the 20-year-old, who has played 13 times for the first team.
Indeed the Dutchman is reported to have blocked a loan deal for the midfielder in January as he wanted to retain him for the rest of the season.
He has played in the Champions League, FA Cup and EFL Cup this term, and has also sat on the bench four times in the Premier League.
Liverpool could cash in
Doak, meanwhile, could be sold with plenty of Premier League interest forming. Everton and Bournemouth are among the teams thought to be keen while FA Cup holders Crystal Palace made an effort to sign the Scottish winger in January.

Liverpool could earn around £10m for Morton, the same for McConnell and even more than that for Doak if these players are shipped out in the summer window.
