Liverpool will break another transfer record this week. The Reds already plan to do so with Florian Wirtz but that's not all.

Liverpool are deep in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a transfer for Florian Wirtz. It's a deal that will almost certainly shatter the Reds' transfer record - we're talking possibly €150m.

Anything remotely in that range won't just break Liverpool's record but also the English (for a purchase) and German (incoming or outgoing) records. The club hasn't done anything like that for some time.

We're all just waiting on news about Wirtz, then. Naturally, things get more anxious the longer we go without news but it really should be wrapped up before long.

Though, this isn't the only transfer Liverpool are working on right now. Far from it. It's not even the only transfer to break a record.

Liverpool want Armin Pecsi

Liverpool hope to wrap-up a transfer for Armin Pecsi before long. The Reds are on the brink of getting it done, per Fabrizio Romano.

Anfield Watch also understands that's the case. Liverpool look set to snap-up one of the brightest goalkeepers in Europe right now but will have to pay a bit to get it done.

As Romano states, this transfer will be a club-record sale for Puskas Akademia. There's also a chance that, with add-ons, a deal could eclipse the Hungarian transfer record of €6m.

Liverpool aren't shy to make such deals, either. Ringmahon Rangers recently brought in a fortune thanks to the 20 per cent sell-on clause they negotiated in a deal for Caoimhin Kelleher's move to Anfield.

It's very likely that Pecsi to Liverpool would involve similar. We fully expect the deal to go through shortly - and full details will come with that.

Liverpool's next goalkeeper, then. Armin Pecsi - remember the name.

It'll be a good start to the window, now we just need a centre forward and a centre half. Number 21 coming soon 💪🏽
