Real Madrid to offer player Liverpool LOVE in deal for Alexis Mac Allister
Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is attracting interest from Real Madrid. Xabi Alonso’s side lost in disappointing fashion at the semi-final stage of the FIFA Club World Cup - going down 3-0 to Paris Saint-Germain.
That defeat has led to speculation that Alonso - a former Liverpool star - would like to add players of his own choosing to the squad. And having already snared Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, it was reported that Alexis could be next.
The 26-year-old is valued around the €100m mark by the Reds - and is under contract at Anfield until 2028.

Moving the Argentina international from Merseyside will be no easy feat but Alonso has reportedly identified the World Cup winner as the man to improve his midfield.
Madrid seeking to reduce Mac Allister fee
Madrid have signed Dean Huijsen for £50m this summer and are about to complete a deal for teen sensation Franco Mastantuono.
That means los Blancos would like to reduce the upfront fee in a deal for Mac Allister in any way they can.
And according to a new report in Fichajes, the Spanish capital club are willing to add a former Liverpool favourite to the equation in order to get a move for Mac Allister over the line.
Madrid to offer Guler in exchange for Macca
Arda Guler, 20, was only ever a peripheral figure under Carlo Ancelotti and looked set for an increased role under Alonso. The Turkey international is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2029 having signed from Fenerbahce in 2023.
He has been a long-term Liverpool target with reports speculating he could quit Madrid for Anfield coming out over the last year or so. Guler will likely have to compete with Mastantuono for game time and is an intriguing option if made available.
He is a creative left-footed player who can feature either right wing or else attacking midfield. Mohamed Salah is a fixture on the right for Arne Slot while Florian Wirtz is expected to take over playmaking duties.
Whether Guler could make the breakthrough at Anfield straight away is another matter altogether.

With Liverpool so well stocked in Guler’s positions, it probably wouldn’t be worth the sacrifice of Mac Allister in order to land the Turkish talent.
Liverpool need to hold fast in the face of interest of Madrid with Macca having expressed no desire at this stage to move on.
