Liverpool star AGREES Real Madrid transfer
After Trent Alexander-Arnold another Liverpool star could be heading to Real Madrid.
The Reds' former right-back hurt a lot of people when he decided to leave the club earlier this summer. Alexander-Arnold had meant so much to so many people at Anfield.

For many, he represented Liverpool's ethos. A young boy from the academy coming through the ranks to make it all the way to the first team and lift the biggest trophies in the world. It's the stuff of dreams and Alexander-Arnold was living it.
Then he turned his back on it all in a callous way, agreeing to join Real Madrid rather than signing a new contract and continuing his duties as the vice-captain of the club.
Liverpool want to prevent another situation like this happening again. They don't want to lose a key star to their rivals again. However, there is now a pretty significant risk, it could happen.
With Xabi Alonso in charge of Real Madrid they are embarking on a new era. This is an era that coincides with Liverpool's desire to also dominate European football.
Richard Hughes has invested heavily in the team, with the hope to get closer to another Champions League triumph.
In order to do that, Liverpool have brought in Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez. They still hope to sign Alexander Isak as well.
One area where both Real Madrid and Liverpool want to add reinforcements is also the centre-back department. Hughes has acted quickly bringing in Giovanni Leoni and working hard to sign Marc Guehi.
For Real Madrid though, they have been biding their time to make a move.
Their dream target seems to be Ibrahima Konate. According to a report in AS Konate is at an impasse with Liverpool over a contract renewal.
Like Alexander-Arnold he has one year left on his current deal. Real Madrid would be keen to sign him now, or next summer when his contract expires.
The report claims Konate has already agreed to join Real Madrid. Apparently, he's given his 'approval' to join the Spanish giants either this year or next year.
But not all hope is lost. Liverpool have not given up on renewing his deal and are working hard to make it happen.
This definitely sounds like de ja vu after last year. One thing we learnt about Alexander-Arnold's saga is the quicker we get a resolution, the better it will be.
Liverpool can't afford to have perpetual reports about Konate for the next twelve months. Not after all the mayhem Alexander-Arnold caused last season.
