Liverpool set to make CRUEL Mo Salah decision

Liverpool are reportedly set to make a cruel decision on Mo Salah. This will not go down well.

What is going to happen to Mo Salah? The Egyptian rocked the club on Saturday evening as he sought out reporters to vent about his place in the squad.

Salah hadn't started any of the three previous matches, only coming on in one of them. Liverpool's results in those fixtures weren't perfect, either - they included draws against two newly-promoted teams.

That's led to Salah believing he's being scapegoated for the team's poor form. After all, he's the only one of the regulars from this season who has been dropped and stayed dropped even after the disappointing performance against Sunderland.

Liverpool reacted to his outburst by leaving him out of the squad entirely for the trip to Inter. There are now doubts over Salah's future with the club - and that's something that could come to a head on Saturday.

Mo Salah vs Brighton

All of this has happened with a backdrop of Saudi Arabian clubs hoping to sign Salah. They've wanted to do that for years, of course, but reports surfaced last week that they were readying January bids.

Salah's outburst, then, also carried the weight of that. Was it him making it perfectly clear that he might leave but doesn't actively want to?

But Salah will disappear on the 15th of this month as he links up with Egypt for the AFCON. It means his final fixture would be against Brighton this Saturday and, potentially, his final fixture for Liverpool if January brings a move to Saudi Arabia.

Talksport, however, report that Liverpool do not plan on playing Salah against Brighton. It's something that feels like a cruel move, quite honestly, as that truly may be his only opportunity for a goodbye.

There's a very real possibility that Salah leaves Liverpool next month. If that's the case, he surely deserves his potential goodbye? Surely everything can be put aside for one more match?

We'll see what happens but it's not a good look if he's left out. Not at all.
