Liverpool line up sensational transfer for Pep Guardiola favourite
All the talk has been about Marc Guehi and Alexander Isak but Liverpool are now lining up a third transfer before the September 1st deadline.
Richard Hughes always had more moves under his sleeves, why wouldn't he?

The club's sporting director has proven this summer that he's the master of the transfer window. While everyone has been rushing and panic buying left, right and centre, Hughes has been patiently picking up the best players in the market.
He could have gone for Viktor Gyokeres and been seduced by his goal-scoring numbers, or Benjamin Sesko's speed and height but he went for the smart option to sign Hugo Ekitike. And wait it out for Isak.
When Florian Wirtz was on the move, Hughes helped to sell him the project and ensure the German only wanted the Reds.
He did the same for Guehi and Milos Kerkez. And on top of that brought in Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni.
This has already been a transfer window of unbelievable proportions and there might just be one more twist left in it.
It's all dependent on the future of Harvey Elliott. All summer there have been murmurs about Elliott's future. He had a very strong U21 Euros and it felt like his time at Anfield has come to an end.
Things have been a little quieter since. Elliott returned to pre-season and he has been making appearances for Arne Slot's first team.
But there remains interest in the 22-year-old. Liverpool are reluctant to let him go but they will sell for the right price. Lewis Steele from the Daily Mail posted that on Friday morning on his X account.
He also added that if Elliott was to leave, Liverpool would want a replacement. There was no mention of any names, but we might now know who that third player could be.
That's because Indy Kaila writing for Football Insider dropped a huge exclusive claiming that Liverpool are planning a sensational approach for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers if Elliott was sold.
The plan involves signing Rogers, who played under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, before the transfer deadline.
It is claimed in the report that RB Leipzig are pushing to sign Elliott and the Reds want £50m for his services. If they can agree a deal, they would then invest that money into Rogers.
Obviously, this is very dependant on whether Leipzig can cough up that kind of cash for Elliott. But you just wouldn't put it past the German side given how much money they have already made this summer, especially after the departure of Xavi Simons.
Villa are also in a difficult financial situation so there may be a world in which they are forced to sell Rogers.
For Liverpool this would be a sensational deal. Getting Guehi and Isak as well as Morgan just feels like pure gluttony. It's made even better by the fact that Guardiola once had Rogers in the palm of his hands at City but let him slip through the cracks.
