Liverpool get GREEN light to sign next Dominik Szoboszlai
Liverpool have a green light to sign the next Dominik Szoboszlai for just €15m.
We all dream of having more players like the Hungarian midfield maestro in the team. Back in the day it was a team of Carraghers that the Anfield faithful sung about. Now it might as well be a team of Szoboszlais.
Liverpool's no.8 has been the rare shining light in what has otherwise been a really difficult start to the season.
Szoboszlai has delivered time and time again. Whether it's as a no.8, or a no.10 or even as a right-back, he's just producing top performances.
Even against Nottingham Forest, he created five chances and was by far the best player on the pitch for Liverpool despite a 3-0 drubbing.
So when there is talk of a 'new' Szoboszlai emerging in the media, naturally it should pique Liverpool's interest.
It's exactly what Sky Sports Germany are reporting. They are saying that the 'new Szoboszlai' Alex Toth is attracting interest from a number of top European clubs, including Bundesliga sides and Juventus.
The report claims that Ferencvaros would be willing to give any potential transfer the green light for €15m, which to a club like Liverpool isn't that much at all.
Especially if Toth does have the potential to follow in his compatriot's footsteps.
Right now, the 20-year-old midfielder is definitely catching the eye. He's part of Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros side, who are currently third in the Europa League group-phase after a brilliant start.
Toth has played a key part of that excellent start, catching the eye playing alongside former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita.
On the international stage, he has become a regular for Hungary's senior national team and has linked-up on several occasions with Szoboszlai.
A robust and dynamic midfielder, Toth can play deeper and in a more advanced role. He's strong in his duels and he is full of energy on the pitch.
One of his best qualities is his creativity. In 54 Ferencvaros games he has registered 15 assists and four goals.
Those are impressive statistics for a midfielder, especially a player who is so young in Toth.
Liverpool could probably do with adding more legs in midfield so if he is reportedly available for that paltry sum of €15m it's a green light for Richard Hughes to make a move.
