How much Liverpool can expect in BOMBSHELL Mo Salah sale

Liverpool and Mo Salah are at odds and it's possible a sale is on the way. Here's what the Reds could expect in return for their legendary forward.

Mo Salah went nuclear on Saturday evening after sitting out another Liverpool match. Arne Slot decided to leave the winger on the bench for the entirety of the 3-3 draw at Leeds United.

The same thing happened a week ago as Liverpool beat West Ham United 2-0. Salah was given just 45 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Anfield against Sunderland, too.

It certainly comes across as though Salah is viewed as a problem in Liverpool's recent run of poor form. He's being left out at a time when no one else really is - Federico Chiesa aside, of course.

And so Salah reacted on Saturday, calling out the club and Slot. He feels he's been misled, if not lied to, and says there's no longer any relationship with the head coach.

Now, this comes at a time when the Saudi Pro League is also linked with a move for Salah. That timing won't be a coincidence.

Saudi Pro League wants Mo Salah

Salah has made it more difficult for Liverpool to sell to Saudi. He's made it very clear that he doesn't actually want to go and any sale from here on out makes it look like the club legend was forced out of the club.

At the same time, he's made the sale more likely. It's difficult to see how Liverpool keep both Salah and Slot beyond January after this.

CaughtOffside weighs in, claiming they know how much the Saudi Pro League would be willing to spend on the winger. They'd apparently be willing to pay between €80m and €100m - though, we're not sure why the figures are in Euros

But that's apparently what Liverpool could expect. The question is whether that's worth it as Salah was pretty unequivocally the world's best player this time last year.

At the same time, Slot doesn't want to use Salah. That makes it €100m for a squad player - and Liverpool won't pass that up.

If they're choosing to stick with the head coach, that is.
