European side proposes last-minute offer for Liverpool forward
All of a sudden Liverpool are looking in great shape.
Alexander Isak is Anfield bound and with him, Richard Hughes has added so much firepower to Arne Slot's side that the Reds look unstoppable.

Hugo Ekitike alongside Isak is simply mouthwatering. On top of Federico Chiesa, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo. Not to mention Florian Wirtz is going to be playing behind them.
And there is the exciting Rio Ngumoha, who looks ready to make a mark every time he enters the pitch.
It also means with such fierce competition, there may be ramifications for some of Liverpool's current young forwards.
The window is still open as we speak and there has been a late attempt to sign Jayden Danns.
The 19-year-old has spent most of his preparation this summer with the club's U21 side where he netted in the opening game of the season.
There have been some suggestions that he could go out on loan, should the right offer arrive. But Liverpool do not seem keen on the idea.
They want Danns back to his full fitness and don't want to risk him picking up another injury again. That's why the plan has always been to keep him around for the next six months of the season before making a decision in the January window.
But a last-minute offer on deadline day could force the club to change their minds.
According to Pete O'Rourke RB Leipzig have made an enquiry for the Liverpool forward. He claims that the German side have prepared an offer that is permanent rather than a loan but one that would also include a buy-back clause.
At this moment in time, Liverpool have not yet responded to the offer.
O'Rourke doesn't go on to say how much the offer is. Obviously, that would determine just how big of a decision this could be for Liverpool.
Realistically speaking, Danns will have limited playing time with Ekitike and Isak in the first team. The Reds will not want to lose him on a permanent deal though.
He's the best forward to have emerged from the club's academy since Michael Owen. His goal-scoring record both at academy level and for the first team proves that.
Six months at Liverpool at U21 level and then a loan move to the Championship seems like the best course of action.
But anything can happen until the window is still open.
