Darwin Nunez agrees massive Napoli transfer
Darwin Nunez could leave Liverpool for pastures new this summer.
The Uruguayan will always be beloved at Anfield, no matter what fate holds for him in the current transfer window. Nunez may not have been the prolific striker everyone wanted, but he was a loveable character.

One thing you cannot ever fault is his effort. Even when he was consistently missing chances, he always got back up on his feet and went again and again.
Nunez had that fighting spirit in him and as a fan that's all you can ask for from a player - dedication.
On top of all of that, while the goals may not have been as frequent, Nunez will steal leave Anfield for a plethora of indelible memories.
Most notably those two late goals against Brentford last season, which proved a pivotal catalyst in Liverpool lifting the Premier League title.

But unfortunately it seems like at this current moment in time, Nunez is out of the picture under Arne Slot. The Uruguayan is of interest to Napoli at the moment.
The Italian side are set to lose Victor Osimhen, who looks destined to join Galatasaray and they are looking for a forward to replace the Nigerian.
In that pursuit they have identified Nunez as a potential candidate who could follow in the footsteps of a former compatriot in Edinson Cavani, who enjoyed a great career in Naples before moving onto Paris Saint Germain.
Now it remains to be seen whether Napoli can agree Liverpool's asking price for Nunez. However, it seems like Nunez is open to the move.
That's if Nicolò Schira is to be believed. According to the journalist in a recent tweet, Nunez has struck an 'agreement in principle' with Napoli for a five-year contract.
The report also claims that the deal is progressing, which is an encouraging sign for all those who want this to happen.
Undoubtedly, if Nunez moves on Liverpool will be in the market for another forward. Whether that could be Alexander Isak remains to be seen.
There's also the possibility of luring Hugo Ekitike away from Eintracht Frankfurt, and there are other options in the market as well.
