Liverpool are losing Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian King has reached an agreement to rip up his £400k per week contract one year early. And the 34-year-old’s departure opens up a space in attack for a new Liverpool signing.

A deal for Victor Munoz has already been agreed with Osasuna and the Spain international has signed for €40m. But Richard Hughes WILL press on with plans to add more wingers with one-v-one quality out wide.

Talks held with Karim Adeyemi

And it’s emerged that the outgoing Premier League champions are now in contact with Karim Adeyemi over the terms of a summer deal.

Adeyemi, 24, has been with Dortmund since 2022 and his current deal only extends until 2027. Dortmund fear that the Germany international is planning to run down his deal and leave for free next summer - an eventuality they are planning to safeguard against.

Accordingly Fussball Daten is claiming that Dortmund decision-makers are now prepared to sell the left-footed attacker in the upcoming transfer period.

Adeyemi: Yours for €40m

A fee has been discussed internally of around €40m for Adeyemi - who makes €6.5m annually on his current deal.

BVB have got no intention of matching his €10m per annum demands for a new deal - which would work out around £165k per week for any potentially interested clubs.

“Liverpool are reportedly in direct contact with the player's agency, as the allure of English football holds significant weight for the player,” the report reads.

£165k per week Adeyemi contract demands

Other Premier League sides such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Aston Villa are also reported to be keen on Adeyemi with Fenerbahce also linked with an ambitious move.

Adeyemi struggled for form and consistency in Dortmund’s yellow shirt last season but still managed seven Bundesliga goals and four assists.

He also featured prominently in their UEFA Champions League campaign - with his pace and outstanding dribbling ability making him a threat.

A price tag of €40m (£35m) would be reasonable for such a weapon - and give Liverpool some much-needed options out wide in the post-Salah landscape.
