Door opens for WONDERKID deal as Chiesa exit moves closer
Federico Chiesa is attracting significant transfer attention all across Serie A. The Liverpool winger’s potential availability has alerted several clubs back in his home country, with his Anfield adventure set to come to a premature end.
Chiesa, 27, only joined the Reds last September - in a deal that could reach £12.5m from Juventus - but struggled to make an impact in his first season.

The Italy international has been restricted to only six Premier League appearances and has failed to convince Arne Slot on the rare occasions he has been permitted to start.

A move back to Serie A was first mooted in the January transfer window - with AC Milan, Inter, Roma, Atalanta and Napoli all linked with a move for the homesick wide man.
Links with those sides have persisted through to the summer window - but Chiesa’s reported £120k per week pay packet is causing issues for interested sides.
Como chasing Chiesa
And now a new report in TBR Football states that Liverpool have got a new suitor for Chiesa.
It’s Como - coached by Cesc Fabregas - and they have a couple of players who could prove useful if they came the other way.
With Liverpool looking for around €15m for Chiesa - and the club having no interest in a loan deal - the upfront cost could be covered in a player exchange.
Assane Diao interest
Liverpool are thought to be keen on Assane Diao - who has ignited his career since swapping Real Betis for Como in January. The 19-year-old Senegal international scored eight goals in 15 appearances for Como during the second half of the season.
With Liverpool’s apparent interest already declared in the winger, talks over Chiesa could be a useful opportunity to discuss Diao.
Could Liverpool strike for Nico Paz?
Alternatively, there could be a chance to make a move for Nico Paz. The highly-rated 20-year-old playmaker was one of the stars of the Serie A season - scoring six times and adding nine assists for Fabregas’s side.
He was an astute pick-up from Real Madrid but one complicating factor is that los Blancos have until June 30 to exercise a €9m buy-back clause for the youngster.
Having just signed Florian Wirtz, Liverpool have no immediate need for Paz, but the Spain-born Argentina international is certainly a name for the future.

Perhaps a sale for Chiesa and a loan-back arrangement for Paz could fit. Either way they’d have to move pretty fast as Inter are keen to strike a deal if Real Madrid don’t move first.
