Liverpool handed boost as 'world-class' star hasn't spoken about Anfield exit yet
Liverpool have a lot of change coming their way this summer.
They may have only just had a massive overhaul of their ranks at the start of the season but, with the club currently fourth in the table, it's clear that some new additions need to be made.
Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson are also leaving which means two massive voids will also need to be filled.
However, if Arne Slot wants to add three or four new faces to his first-team squad, sales will have to be made with some of the Reds' best players being linked with moves away.
Even if one or two of their star men choose to exit it could be catastrophic so, that's why it's good to hear that one player hasn't spoken about leaving just yet.
Alisson hasn't spoken to Gleison Bremer about joining Juventus
Alisson is one of the many Liverpool players who have been linked with potential moves away this summer.
In fact, reports have even emerged that the Brazilian already has an agreement in place with Juventus.
That is, despite the fact that the Reds have only just triggered their option to extend his current contract.
However, according to his international teammate Gleison Bremer, who plays for Juventus, the 'keeper hasn't said anything to him about joining the Serie A outfit.
"Alisson hasn't asked me anything yet, but we're talking about a world-class goalkeeper," he said to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"The club, however, is taking care of the transfer market. We have Perin and Di Gregorio, who is back in form.
"Now we're focusing on AC Milan; we want to beat them tomorrow, but we know it will be tough against Allegri."
Liverpool must do everything they can to keep hold of Alisson
Liverpool may see Giorgi Mamardashvili as Alisson's successor but, from the games that he's featured in this season, it's clear that he's not ready to be their first-choice.
The Georgian is a well-established 'keeper but he's still making errors that Alisson wouldn't make which means he's not quite ready to take over just yet.
In fact, now that he's injured, there are even things that Freddie Woodman has done better than the 25-year-old which is rather mad.
And, because Alisson only has a year left on his current contract, it doesn't feel like Liverpool would get a decent fee for the 33-year-old despite how good he actually is.
So, all in all, no matter what Liverpool choose to do in the market this summer, they cannot let Alisson go, not yet at least.
