New Florian Wirtz theory suggests Liverpool deal is IMMINENT
Liverpool want to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and a deal could be imminent. A new theory certainly suggests so.
Liverpool are pushing to sign Florian Wirtz. The Reds have the go-ahead from the player himself, leaving negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen as the final step.

Fabrizio Romano claims those negotiations are well underway - Liverpool have made an initial offer of around €100m to Leverkusen. Though, we expect they'll need to go a bit higher than that.
But there are absolutely no suggestions that Liverpool don't have this one in the bag. They've convinced Wirtz and it's in Leverkusen's interest to sell now and avoid Bayern Munich getting back in the race in 2026.
This one could move very quickly, then. Very, very quickly if one fan theory is to be believed.
Forian Wirtz fan theory
Liverpool fan Nicholas Bieber has been tracking planes on Twitter and a notable one landed on Merseyside on Tuesday evening. It was reported by Sky Sports News to have Jeremie Frimpong on it.
Bieber noticed that the same private plane is heading to Cologne on Wednesday. At the same time, a jet will leave Corsica, where Wirtz is on holiday, to Cologne.
Cologne is the nearest airport to Leverkusen, for those wondering what the relevance is.
And so a plane clearly used for private flights to Liverpool will touchdown twice in two days. It also happens to be going near Leverkusen and coincides with a private flight from Wirtz's location to his home.
It does sound as though things are about to move quickly. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean Wirtz is arriving at Anfield on Wednesday and shooting his welcome video.
Perhaps this is actually his parents, who represent him, flying out. Or maybe this is for a medical. Who really knows?

But the signs do all point in one direction and Liverpool may well be about to wrap up the biggest transfer in their history.
