'Would love to see LFC sign, class player': Some Reds want €55m Premier League player

Some Liverpool fans have recently taken to Twitter to praise Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

In fact, the aforementioned supporters would like to see the club make a move for the 24-year-old.

Liverpool were linked with a move for Tielemans during the 2021 summer transfer window.

The Belgium international's contract expires in June 2023. Tielemans possesses a current market value of €55 million.

An another note from today, would still be looking at Tielemans as a midfield option, just a class player.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Tielemans is a fine player. The midfielder has scored 19 goals and registered 21 assists in 120 appearances for Leicester City.

Tielemans also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.09 across the 2020-21 Premier League campaign.

Liverpool are yet to replace midfielder Gini Wijnaldum. The Dutchman departed the club and signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer during the 2021 summer transfer window.

Tielemans would be a decent replacement for Wijnaldum. As we have pointed out, the Belgium international is a solid Premier League midfielder.

Also, Tielemans is only 24 years of age, which means that he could potentially represent the club for a number of years.
