Arne Slot's job is very much still safe at the moment.

Liverpool are not the type of club to move on from their head-coach just based on a few bad results. Slot has delivered and has proven that he's a fantastic coach with a track-record for delivering success.

He's done it at Anfield and he's done it at Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar. Slot has a recipe for success and four defeats in a row is not going to change that.

The Dutchman is absolutely the right man to continue the job and fix the evident issues in the team right now.

Of course, if he doesn't find a solution and Liverpool's results continue in the same way, the pressure will mount.

It's now up to Slot to see how he handles that pressure. This is a make-or-break moment for him. The kind of moment that will prove whether he is really up to the task of managing one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Based on his track-record, there's nothing to suggest he's not going to pull through.

Nonetheless, there will be managers who are going to be looking at Liverpool right now as a possible destination. Finding a head-coach for the club is not as difficult it was prior to the days when Brendan Rodgers was relieved of his duties.

Jurgen Klopp's appointment has transformed Liverpool. Meanwhile, this summer's transfer window has built a star studded squad that any coach in the world would love to manage.

Who wouldn't love to work with the likes of Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak? It's a manager's dream and there are so many ways to make this Liverpool team work.

Slot himself will undoubtedly be thinking the same thing and that is why he will be given an ample amount of time to make the system work.

However, somewhere down the line, Liverpool fans could still see the return of their former boss.

Speaking on the Diary of the CEO podcast, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that it is a possibility for him to accept Liverpool's calling again.

When Steven Bartlett asked him whether he would return to Liverpool, Klopp didn't rule out the fact that he would not be open to the opportunity.

"I said I will never coach a different team in England," Klopp said. "So it means if, then it's Liverpool. So yeah theoretically it's possible."

When asked what it would take for him to come back, Klopp said the following:

"I love what I do right now. I don't miss coaching. I don't. I mean I do coach but it's just different. It's not players. I don't miss standing in the rain two and a half, three hours and I don't miss going to press conferences three times a week. Having 10 or 12 interviews a week. I don't miss that.

"So I don't miss being in the dressing room. I coached 1080 something games. So I was in the dressing room very, very often. I don't want to die in the dressing room. It smells! It's these kinds of things. But there might be something. I'm 58. That's from your perspective old but from the other side it's not that old. That means I could make the decision in a few years. I don't know. Do I have to make the decision today I will not coach again? Thank God I don't have to do that. I can just see what the future brings."

So it looks like Klopp isn't planning on coming back anytime soon. However, at some point in the future, the door still remains open for a world-class coach, who has won the Champions League and the Premier League. Perhaps one day he could return to Anfield.
