Video: Throwback to Mohamed Salah's world-class goal against Man City

Back in October 2021, Liverpool welcomed Manchester City to Anfield.

During the aforementioned Premier League fixture, Reds forward Mohamed Salah scored a Goal of the Season contender.

As you can see in the footage below, which has been provided by LFC TV, the Egyptian international dribbled past a number of Manchester City defenders before finding the back of the net.

However, Salah's strike was not enough to secure Liverpool the three points. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Salah is having a superb season for Liverpool.

The winger has scored 23 goals and registered nine assists in 26 appearances.

Salah is currently representing Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. The 29-year-old will return to Liverpool for the backend of the season.
