Video: Every angle of Sadio Mane’s back heel against Watford

Liverpool, and particularly Mohamed Salah, have scored some incredible goals against Watford over the years, including Sadio Mane’s audacious back heel in the 2018/19 season. The winger received the ball with his back to goal, and, instead of swivelling, simply improvised to back heel the ball over the incoming Ben Foster, and into the back of the net.

If recent games are anything to go by, too, we should expect to see another goal from Sadio Mane this afternoon. The ex-Southampton man found the back of the net last time out, against Manchester City, giving Liverpool the lead in a game that would go on to end 2-2.
