Video: Adam Lallana received a brilliant reception at Anfield last weekend

Back in the summer of 2020, Adam Lallana departed Liverpool and joined Brighton and Hove Albion on a free transfer.

The Reds came up against the Seagulls at Anfield last weekend. With that being the case, Lallana returned to his former home.

The 33-year-old started in the aforementioned Premier League fixture and performed well. Lallana registered a WhoScored player rating of 7.59 against Liverpool.

Come the end of the match, which finished in a 2-2 draw, Lallana received a great reception from the Anfield faithful. The Englishman was a fine servant for Liverpool.

Lallana made 178 appearances for the club's first-team. The midfielder also won four major trophies with the Reds.

Therefore, Lallana certainly deserved a round of applause from the Anfield faithful.
