The next Rio Ngumoha is destined to join Liverpool
Liverpool can sign the next Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea if they want him.
Over the years we've seen so many players who didn't quite make the grade at Stamford Bridge become absolute legends at Liverpool.
Ngumoha is the latest superstar following that path.
But before him there was Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge. The Chelsea to Liverpool pathway is an extremely successful one.
At Liverpool, Ngumoha is proving that once again. He's been able to get a quick route into the first team. Something Chelsea never really assured him with given their mass spending and proclivity to buying and buying more and more players.
When Ngumoha joined Liverpool, he enraged a lot of people at Chelsea.
However, his example should motivate another Chelsea young winger to eventually end-up at Anfield. In fact, given his social media activity he already seems destined to be a future star at Liverpool.
Liverpool always want to sign the next big talents. The club has a policy of attracting teenagers who are the best in the country.
Ngumoha, Harvey Elliott, Trey Nyoni and others are example of this policy.
Last summer, they opted not to pull the trigger on any deals because they wanted to show that there was a pathway for Joshua Abe at Anfield, who they believe and have massive faith in.
This meant that they missed out on Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, who was available but ultimately signed a scholarship deal with Chelsea.
The 17-year-old is very much regarded as the next Ngumoha at Stamford Bridge, he has five goals in four games for England's U17 side and has 25 goal contributions in 23 games in total for England at youth level.
A right-winger with electric speed and a fearsome ability to cut onto his left-foot, Kavuma-McQueen has shades of Mo Salah about him and while he's going to be at Chelsea for the near future, his heart may be set on Liverpool in the long-term.
Looking at his social media activity, Kavuma-McQueen regularly reposts videos and posts about being a Liverpool fan. He also follows most of the Liverpool team on his Instagram account as one user pointed out on X.
Another pointed out more reposts that show Kavuma-McQueen to be a Liverpool fan.
It's clear then that the 17-year-old may possibly be open to a move to Anfield.
In the coming years, like many of Chelsea's biggest academy prospects, he will find out that the pathway to the first-team is a lot more difficult.
That's when his destiny could take him to Liverpool.
A talent like him deserves a clear pathway at one of the best clubs in the league.
Liverpool can offer that. Right now they only have Mo Salah on their books as a right-winger and he won't be around forever.
Kavuma-McQueen could be the perfect future successor to the Egyptian's throne at Anfield.
Given how limited the pathway is at Chelsea and how he seems to be a big fan of Liverpool, it just feels like he's destined to end up at the club and follow in Ngumoha's, Salah's and Sturridge's footsteps.
