Richard Hughes on the verge of completing UNBELIEVABLE Liverpool transfer
Richard Hughes may just be edging closer to a Liverpool transfer masterstroke.
Look, the club's new sporting director hasn't had it easy. He's stepped into a situation where he had to negotiate three really important deals.

Hughes managed to deliver on two fronts, failing to secure Trent Alexander-Arnold's new contract. Although, he was fighting a losing game with that one.
It always seemed inevitable that Alexander-Arnold would move on from Liverpool. But keeping Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah is a huge bonus for Liverpool.
Now after a quiet summer last year, Hughes is preparing for one of the biggest windows in the club's history with the Reds preparing a host of changes.

And it's been a great start for the club's sporting director as he has already replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold before he even stepped his foot out of Anfield.
Hughes extended the contract of Conor Bradley and now looks on the verge of completing a deal for Jeremie Frimpong.
These two moves are a brilliant way to begin the summer but the fun is just about to commence.
There's a new left-back to be signed, which could very well end-up being Milos Kerkez, who Anfield Watch exclusively reported had been on the club's radar for a long time.
Who knows what will happen with Florian Wirtz at this stage. One thing is clear, Liverpool do like him.
And the club wants to sign a no.9 as well in order to replace Darwin Nunez.
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed that one of the players on the club's radar is Victor Osimhen. The Reds made an approach to sign the Nigerian back in January when Saudi Pro League clubs first made a bid for Nunez.
At the time, the logistics of the deal for Osimhen were difficult to pull off because of his loan deal at Galatasaray.
However, that loan deal is set to expire at the end of the season and Osimhen is now returning to Napoli, where the Italian side are keen to cut ties with him.
Anfield Watch understands that Liverpool's interest remains in Osimhen. Michael Edwards is a long-term admirer and tried to bring him to the club before he moved to Napoli.
Liverpool have continued to appreciate Osimhen and he is high up on the list of no.9 targets this summer.
Now it has emerged that Napoli also hold a similar interest in Nunez.
According to Calcio Mercato Napoli have recently made contact with Nunez's agents and the Uruguayan seems interested in the prospect of joining the Italian side.
The site claims that Nunez will make a decision about his future in the coming days with Saudi proposals also in the background.
Liverpool will try to do what's best for Nunez here but this is an opportunity too good to pass up.
Given that Liverpool have admired Osimhen for years, this is the best chance Hughes could ever have at signing someone in the prime of their career.
All Liverpool have to do is arrange a swap deal with Napoli. Give them Nunez and bring Osimhen to Anfield.
It would truly be an unbelievable deal. It's one that makes perfect sense given the above report and what we know about Osimhen.
