Liverpool's squad continues to attract attention from around the world.

Of course, a lot of high-calibre players have been signed over the last few years, but plenty have been brought to the club and improved as a result of playing for the Reds. Their value skyrockets.

In an interview earlier this year, Arne Slot proclaimed that everyone in his team is worth £100m, which is very clearly an over-exaggeration, but the real figures might not be far off given the quality we've seen from the Reds over the last two seasons. Each player is held in very high esteem.

As such, it will be completely unsurprising that Real Madrid are lurking around some of the young talents we have in the side and a transfer value has been put on some of them by the Spanish club.

Gravenberch wanted for £65m

According to a report form Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Spanish giants have 'fixed its attention on Ryan Gravenberch as the next reinforcement for the midfield' to accompany Aurélien Tchouaméni in the double pivot of Xabi Alonso's system.

His profile is considered different to the stars of Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde, and should one of the three players leave in 2026, the Dutchman might well be targeted.

The report suggests that €75m (£65m) is Liverpool's asking price, although the Dutchman's form is currently at such a level that fans might well doubt the reliability of such a figure. At just 23 years old, the world is at Gravenberch's feet, so a lot more could be added to his valuation, if he even has one.

Alexis Mac Allister has previously been considered by Los Blancos as an 'ideal midfield addition' which didn't actually result in anything. Both the Argentine and Gravenberch are contracted until 2028 and you would expect contract extension talks to take place very soon given their form.

Together, alongside Dominik Szoboszlai, they make up a dynamic midfield trio of technicians with a lot of their careers still to play before they hit their 'prime'. For many, they are irreplaceable. As such, it only feels right to take this latest report with a pinch of salt. But don't write anything off yet either.

Should something come from this initial appreciation, Liverpool will drive a hard bargain if the player is interested in taking the approach seriously, but such a move feels quite hard to believe right now.
