Mo Salah mega bid on the brink in massive investment

A massive offer for Mo Salah appears certain. The Liverpool legend will face a massive decision very soon.

Mo Salah’s future is a yearly topic of discussion now. The Egyptian only signed his new contract back in April and the serious doubts are back.

Of course, they were there last month when Arne Slot decided to drop Salah. It prompted incredible backlash from Liverpool’s no.11, though everyone seems to have done a good job of smoothing that over.

But Salah will enter the final year of yet another contract this summer. His precarious position in Liverpool’s starting XI makes it more realistic than ever that not only he chooses to leave but that the Reds accept an offer.

They rejected one back in 2023 from a Saudi Pro League side - a decision that proved absolutely correct in hindsight. Now they may face that decision all over again.

Mo Salah offer on its way

The Telegraph reports that an offer for Salah from Saudi Arabia is incredibly likely this summer. And there's a very good reason for that.

Several massive names in the Pro League are coming to the end of their contracts. That includes Sadio Mane, as well as Karim Benzema. The next batch of stars are needed, then - and Salah is as big a star as they come.

The report quotes a 'senior SPL source' as saying: “Very important players will finish their contracts in June 2026 and the league will invest in new stars like Salah. My perception is that if it happens it will be the summer and not now.”

There won't be a bid in the next week, then. The summer, however, sounds very likely and Liverpool will have an enormous decision to make.

As will Salah, for that matter. His form over the coming months could affect everything, for how all parties view the move and potential finances involved.
