Manager confirms winger is set to STAY
Liverpool are still dealing with an unbearable tragedy that is difficult to comprehend.
The wounds of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva passing away will never really completely heal. Grief is something that stays with you for a lifetime.

Jota was at the peak of his career. He was at the pinnacle of his personal life, having just married. This was supposed to be his prime years.
But unfortunately, a cruel tragedy ripped that away from, and ripped him away from us fans, his teammates, colleagues, loved ones and family.
Right now, in these terrible circumstances, it's impossible to think about the transfer market. Even though as we speak there are a lot of moves going on.
With time, Liverpool will be back doing business but only when the club is ready to move on. There should be no pressure on them to do so.

One player though who appears won't be appearing on Liverpool's radar again is Rafael Leao. Anfield Watch understands he was a player Liverpool had admired.
The Reds have been looking to bolster their left-wing department for over a year now with Anthony Gordon and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia both courted.
Leao was another under consideration but it seems like he is going nowhere.
As per Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that Leao is staying at the club for next season.
“Rafa can do excellent things next season. I’m sure I can bring out that extra something he’s been missing” Allegri said.
“He’s reaching the age where a player performs at his peak”.
Leao is a very direct player, he loves to take players on one vs one and he would have been a great addition to this team. But it looks like Milan have plans for him and do not want to let him go.
That means Liverpool's search for a left-winger continues. The Reds could turn their attention to Gordon again, but with Alexander Isak also on the club's radar it looks unlikely that they could sign two players from Newcastle in the same window.
Malick Fofana of Lyon could be a more realistic option. He's young and potentially available this summer and Liverpool are fond of the winger.

His ability to play on both flanks makes him an ideal addition to this team.
