Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich now a FORMALITY after Fabrizio Romano update
Luis Diaz now looks absolutely certain to join Bayern Munich. The Colombian wants out of Liverpool.
Liverpool have held the stance all summer with negotiating clubs that Luis Diaz is not for sale. That's despite the winger pushing for an exit.
Now, Anfield Watch understands that's never actually been true - Liverpool were always open to selling. They just wanted a high price for Diaz and so wouldn't completely admit it.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona have clearly felt he's available. They each made offers in June to sign Diaz, though Liverpool rejected both.
There's another party interested, too. Al-Nassr have been linked with Diaz for months now and certainly have the money to meet any asking price.
But after a couple of twists and turns, this one appear to have set a permanent course.

Luis Diaz surely joining Bayern Munich
Barcelona are certainly out of the running for Diaz. They’ve brought in Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United, eliminating any need.
And now Al-Nassr also appear to be out of it. Fabrizio Romano reports that they’ve turned their attention to João Félix and will attempt to sign the playmaker.
Even if they don’t sign Félix, their focus is now off Diaz. That leaves Bayern, who will supposedly put up a lot of money.
Ben Jacobs says an agreement is now not far off. While it won’t reach the €80m Liverpool have been chasing, it sounds like it’s quite close to that.
Barcelona are out of the running, Al-Nassr are out of the running. Only Bayern are left and now it’s getting close.
