'We mean business' - Liverpool feeling CONFIDENT over Florian Wirtz deal
Liverpool's approach for Florian Wirtz is an ambitious move and everyone is tense now that it seems as though the club might have a legitimate chance of securing a deal for the playmaker.
High money targets are a rarity on Merseyside but the extortionate asking price for Wirtz has not proved to be an issue quite yet. Fans are already getting their hopes up.

Bayern Munich are the major obstacle in the way of a potential deal, and the offering of staying in Germany is not something that Liverpool have up their sleeve, although the opportunity to play in a different league is also something that Bayern are having to compete against.
The projects at both clubs have so far proved enticing to the player, but personal terms for a specific move have not yet been agreed, so we are left in a period of limbo until a decision is reached.
From the Liverpool side of things, there is every reason to feel confident about our chances.
'The noises are positive' for a Liverpool move
All of the journalists are tirelessly speaking to sources to get a better understanding of the situation, and sometimes it can be really difficult to know what is accurate and what is misleading.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, working for Mail Sport, Lewis Steele gave us his perspective.
He said: "I just have a sneaky feeling on this one. The noises are positive, let's say that. Not that a deal will be done, just that there's no negative noise to suggest it won't be done.
"All I can say is Florian Wirtz likes the idea of Liverpool. Liverpool are going to push hard for him. The money's there, as I said in the last video, and I think that this could be a brilliant, brilliant signing.
"And the sort of signing that sends a statement to the league [Premier League] and the rest of Europe - 'we mean business'."
As such, Liverpool fans should fancy the club's chances of getting an agreement in place.
The £125m asking price is high, but we're talking about a world class talent here, and Liverpool have done their due-diligence. Wirtz has been heavily scouted since before he even joined Leverkusen.
Furthermore, reports are suggesting that Wirtz is willing to take his time figuring out which move would benefit him the most, with Kicker reporting that we will know his decision in 10 days time.

Until then, we believe in the pull of Arne Slot's project and if Wirtz decides against joining the Reds, then Liverpool's intention to invest in the rest of the squad could not be any clearer. Ambitious moves need to be made to keep the club competitive and other targets can be pursued if necessary.
