Liverpool could suffer TRIPLE transfer blow at the hands of Real Madrid
Real Madrid look set to be a thorn in the side for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
It appears Los Blancos are close to adding Trent Alexander-Arnold as a high-profile acquisition in the off-season with the Reds right-back confirming on Monday that he would be leaving the club.

There is also transfer interest around Alexis Mac Allister and Ibrahima Konate but Liverpool fans will be hoping those Madrid inquiries aren’t pursued this summer.

Following a bruising season however, Madrid are unlikely to stop at just Trent. They have got several players on their radar - and they could be about to frustrate Liverpool once again in the chase for two defenders.
It’s no secret that the Reds are looking at Milos Kerkez and his Bournemouth teammate Dean Huijsen ahead of a reported £95 million summer double deal.
Kerkez, 21, could be available for around £45m - having been signed once before by Liverpool sporting director and former Bournemouth executive Richard Hughes.
Huijsen, meanwhile, has got a very tantalisingly low £50m release clause in his Cherries contract and appears to be on the shortlist of several top European clubs.
Madrid scout Huijsen and Kerkez
And now, according to TBR Football, the Spanish capital club were in attendance last weekend as Bournemouth claimed a 2-1 victory in the Premier League against Arsenal at the Emirates.
“Real Madrid sent scouts to watch the Liverpool-linked pair of Dean Huijsen and Kerkez in action against Arsenal as Bournemouth won 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium,” a report reads.
Huijsen was on the scoresheet while Kerkez was once again in impressive form. While it’s believed Liverpool remain frontrunners for the Hungarian’s signature, his name is now very much on the list at the Bernabeu,
“Real Madrid consider the 21-year-old as one of the options on their shortlist to bolster their left-back department,” the report reads.
Liverpool may move to other targets
Madrid are also thought to be keen on another Liverpool left-back target in Alvaro Carreras.
And although reports in England suggest Chelsea are in the lead for Huijsen, returning to Spain is seen as a dream move for the Spanish international and Madrid have got a pressing need to add centre-backs.
“His dream destination is Spain and Los Blancos have been keen on the 20-year-old’s signature for a while and have remained in continued talks with his camp,” the report says.

Missing out on Kerkez and Huijsen - as well as losing Trent - at the hands of Real Madrid would be a triple-defensive blow for Hughes and head coach Arne Slot.
It could mean having to pursue other targets - such as Jorrel Hato for centre-back and Antonee Robinson for left-back.
