Liverpool LOVE Morgan Rogers so will he move this summer?
One of the more intriguing transfer links to emerge ahead of the summer window concerns Liverpool and Morgan Rogers.
The Aston Villa attacker, 22, has been tipped for a summer departure because his club need to make at least one significant sale before June 30 for PSR purposes.

Given his age, quality and the fact that his contract extends until 2030, the England international could certainly attract a high fee.

Rogers is admired inside Anfield, with the club said to be keeping tabs on his situation. Capable of playing anywhere across the attacking midfield line, Rogers is a multi-faceted threat.
He’s scored eight goals and provided 11 assists in this Premier League season, confirming his outstanding quality.
And his transfer outlook could escalate significantly if Villa miss out on Champions League football on the last day of the season.
The focus is on Wirtz
Liverpool will be right there if that happens, although transfer focus now appears to be on Jeremie Frimpong as well as Bayer Leverkusen club-mate Florian Wirtz.
If the German playmaker came to Merseyside this summer then it’s unlikely there would be room also for Rogers. But how would Rogers feel about swapping Villa Park for Anfield?
According to TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey, it’s unlikely that the former Manchester City youth would be interested in a move at this stage.
The reason is that he has got big World Cup aspirations for the Three Lions and if a move to Anfield went sideways then it’s not certain he would stay in Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
Liverpool LOVE Morgan Rogers
“Liverpool love Morgan Rogers, there’s no getting away from that,” he said.
“But it’s highly unlikely that Rogers leaves for more than one reason. With a lot of these players, the feedback I’m getting from the players’ camps is that they are very mindful that we’re in a World Cup cycle now.
“So someone like Rogers…if he leaves now, if he goes to Liverpool for instance, then playing devil’s advocate and it doesn’t work out, he’s not going to the World Cup.”

Liverpool are always on the lookout for the best Premier League talent - particularly one who comes with homegrown status as Rogers does. Right now it might be for other transfer contenders - such as Arsenal and Chelsea - to fight it out for his signature.
