The one condition for £100m Premier League playmaker to move
Just days after being confirmed as Premier League champions, Arne Slot and Richard Hughes are already looking for ways to strengthen.
A wide range of targets have been discussed, but the path to signing one top star just became a little clearer.

A new no.9 and reinforcements at left-back have been the two most talked about positions for Liverpool heading into the summer, but creative reinforcements could be needed too.
Trent Alexander-Arnold looks all but certain to leave for Real Madrid on a free transfer, and his creativity will be missed by the Reds. This is why Liverpool are looking at signing a new playmaker who can fill Trent’s boots from a different position.
Morgan Gibbs-White deal could be on
Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White has announced himself to the world as one of the Premier League’s finest playmakers this season.
He is showing just how good he can be in a Forest side that are making a push for Champions League football, but a top five finish is not guaranteed, and missing out could lead to the Englishman’s departure.

According to TBR Football, Gibbs-White consider his options this summer if Forest do fail to qualify for the Champions League, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle all monitoring the player’s situation.
The 25-year-old has managed five goals and nine assists from the midfield this campaign, earning himself two caps for England in the process.
A fifth-place finish will be enough to secure Champions League football at The City Ground next season, but Forest have lost three of their last four league games and now sit sixth in the table.
The report also states that Forest view Gibbs-White in a similar bracket to Jack Grealish, who joined Manchester City for £100m, and that any deal for Gibbs-White would have to command a similar fee.
How would Gibbs-White fit at Liverpool?
The Forest star has a pretty similar output to two of the Reds’ current midfielders – Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai – and would presumably come in to compete with the two established stars.
There has been some talk linking both Szoboszlai and Mac Allister with summer transfer, but it seems highly unlikely that either man will leave Anfield any time soon.
Slot has so far been reluctant to rotate his starting XI too often, but this could be down to a lack of legitimate options, and bringing Gibbs-White in would definitely solve this issue.
Curtis Jones will also be fighting for a place, and a rotation of these four players is a truly frightening proposition for rivals.

A strong finish from Forest will be enough to secure Champions League football, but Liverpool will be waiting patiently if they do fail to secure a top five finish, and Morgan Gibbs-White could well be playing at Anfield every other Saturday next season.
