MASSIVE hint Liverpool are open to mega-money deal
Liverpool must be open to a mega-money deal if a new report is to be believed. The Reds are incredibly active this transfer window.
Liverpool are in the market for a striker right now. The Reds weren't happy with their options over the title-winning season and hold out hopes of signing a star this summer.

Alexander Isak is at the top of their shortlist but he's also incredibly expensive. He might actually be unobtainable, in fact.
There are other options, too. Hugo Ekitike is one, as is Benjamin Sesko. Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres have been mentioned alongside them all.
Liverpool want to make sure they get the right option, though. That's going to take some work as they find out exactly who costs what and who wants what.
But there's another angle to consider: they're not just after a striker.

Liverpool open to mega-money deal
Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg claims Liverpool are looking at left-wingers this summer. That's as well as looking at strikers.
And so the Reds aren't simply looking to find the right no.9 but someone who can play with him. They're overhauling their attack - just as Anfield Watch exclusively reported back in February.
But this isn't necessarily the mega deal we're talking about here. The fact they're after a left-winger is actually a massive hint that Luis Diaz is completely available to leave the club.
Journalist Pipe Sierra hinted at this himself recently. He claimed on a stream that Liverpool had given up on contract talks with the Colombian and that Diaz wasn't happy with the situation.
The fact the Reds are actively seeking a left-winger suggests they're moving to replace Diaz, who certainly has interest in him. After all, Cody Gakpo exists - there really isn't any need to sign a new winger on that side unless someone leaves.

Diaz is by far the most likely to do so and Liverpool's new hunt points to exactly that outcome.
