Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp favourite is on the move
Liverpool have suffered, and they have suffered a lot.
Arne Slot's men may be Premier League Champions but there is something missing in his team. Something Jurgen Klopp had sought to address many years ago.

The Reds are without a goal-scoring forward. In the last couple of decades there have been so many exciting forwards at Liverpool.
From Luis Suarez to the magic of Daniel Sturridge and the eternal brilliance of Fernando Torres. But right now there is none. Darwin Nunez is a far cry compared to the names mentioned above.
That's why Liverpool have embarked on a quest to replace him this summer and it's a quest that could take him back to one of their own.
Because sure, Liverpool had Suarez, Sturridge and Torres but all of them paled in comparison to Roberto Firmino. There was no one quite truly like the Brazilian.
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool eye Tomas Araujo as an alternative to Dean Huijsen
From his voracious appetite to win loose balls, to his silky technical touches and link-up play - combined with his ability to put the ball into the back of the net.
It was a sad day when he left the club for pastures new. The truth is even though it has now been two years, Liverpool still haven't really been able to replace him.
What's more frustrating is that Firmino is practically the perfect Slot player. The Dutchman wants someone who can both score goals and facilitate chances - this was Firmino at his very best in a nutshell.
It's not like he's lost his form either. This season he made 13 goal contributions in 12 AFC Champions League Elite matches for Al Ahli and helped the Saudi Arabian side lift the tournament becoming the first ever player to win both the UEFA Champions League and the AFC Champions League.
Still only 33-years-old, Firmino has years left in the game and it looks like he's bracing himself for his next move.
After being frozen out of Al Ahli's Saudi Pro League squad earlier this year, Ben Jacobs has now reported that Firmino is expected to leave the Saudi side this summer.
His report claims that Firmino is seeking a return to Brazil with Flamengo one of the club's to watch. But he's too good to go back to his homeland.
Firmino still has years left at the top of his game. He was Michael Edwards' favourite player at the club and with him now back at the helm, Liverpool should consider bringing the Brazilian back to Anfield.
Give him a short-term contract, for one or two years - until there is a ready made player for the Reds to bring in as Slot's first choice no.9.
Or just sign him on the cheap and make him the club's back-up option. Either way, Firmino's chapter always felt like it ended too abruptly at Liverpool.

There's a chance here to bring him back, just like the Reds once did with Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush.
