Liverpool to confirm WORLD-CLASS signing later today
Liverpool should confirm their latest world-class signing later today. The Reds are not messing about in this window.
Liverpool have surprised everyone with their efforts in this transfer window. The Reds have moved at an incredible pace to rejuvenate their squad.
And this is a squad that’s already champions of England, of course. Liverpool just felt there was more to come, especially if they signed players for Arne Slot rather than asking him to work with Jurgen Klopp’s stars.
It means the full-backs are new - Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez - and there’s a new phenomenon in attack. Florian Wirtz has signed for a club-record fee from Bayer Leverkusen and will hopefully lead Liverpool going forward.
Ridiculously, however, Liverpool are far from done. In fact, they should confirm another major signing later today.

Liverpool to confirm Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool will finalise their deal for Hugo Ekitike on Wednesday, according to Sky Sports. The Reds will put down a potential €91m for the French striker to get him from Eintracht Frankfurt.
That deal should initially be around £69m (to mix currencies here) with £10m in add-ons. That's a large amount for a relatively unproven forward but the talent here is undeniable.
Ekitike was a massive prospect before signing with Paris Saint-Germain. That move didn't work out whatsoever, though, and he was sold to Frankfurt a year ago as a flop.
They've instantly rejuvenated his career, with the 23-year-old putting in a sensational campaign as an all-action centre-forward. Exactly what Liverpool are chasing, essentially.
The Reds believe they're signing one of the world's biggest talents at centre-forward, too. We imagine they are - remarkably few players can offer the range of qualities that Ekitike can.
There's an expected jump in his finishing, too, with him underperforming his xG last season but still managing to score 15 Bundesliga goals. A bit more luck there and you're looking at comfortably a 20-goal striker.

This is one to get excited about, then. Ekitike is a massive prospect and he should be confirmed as a Liverpool star later today.
Rest in peace, Diogo Jota.
