Liverpool reportedly want to repeat their incredible Florian Wirtz transfer. Another Bundesliga bombshell.

Liverpool shocked world football this summer as they completed a deal for Florian Wirtz. He was (at the time) the most expensive player in the club's history and the first time the Reds spent nine figures on a transfer.

But what a transfer. Wirtz is one of the biggest prospects in world football and is already counted among the very best players around at 22.

He wasn't really supposed to be the kind of player that joins Liverpool. The Reds never shop at the very top table and yet here they were, signing a superstar.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about it, though, was Liverpool signing an elite German talent. Those players typically end up at Bayern Munich, after all, who feel they have a right to every incredible player coming out of the Bundesliga.

Wirtz moving to Bavaria felt like a formality. Instead, Liverpool snapped him up to the surprise of everyone else in the game.

Now they want to do it again.

Liverpool eye Angelo Stiller

Not content with just the one brilliant German talent, Liverpool are reportedly watching Angelo Stiller. That’s according to TeamTalk, who report on the battle for the midfielder.

Still actually started his career with Bayern but has since become a star with Stuttgart. Though, his future appears to be elsewhere and interest in him is growing rapidly.

Real Madrid were actually linked very strongly this summer, though nothing came of it. Now Liverpool could take advantage with a move next year.

Stiller is a magnificent passer - one of the best in the world - and still only 24. He’s destined for a long future at the top and the Reds could easily see him playing behind Wirtz.

That would be the second top German taken from the Bundesliga if Liverpool can make it happen. In fact, he’d be the fourth signing from Germany’s top flight after both Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitiké signed for the Reds.

This is firmly one to watch, then.
