Fabrizio Romano understands €70m star is ALLOWED to join Liverpool
Liverpool are in pursuit of a striker and Fabrizio Romano says he’s able to join. Will Richard Hughes makes it happen?
Liverpool have their eyes on plenty of targets this summer as they plot something of an overhaul. That’s right - an overhaul right after winning the Premier League.

It’s quite an incredible message to send to every rival. That Liverpool team that beat you all to the title last season? We can do a lot better, actually.
That’s the plan, anyway, as Liverpool attempt to build a squad for Arne Slot. The Dutchman won the title with Jurgen Klopp’s squad - now it’s time to give him a go with his own.
That means, primarily, refocusing the attack. Liverpool haven’t settled on anything they’ve particularly liked there and will both sell and buy this summer.
It could mean a new striker. And one of those the Reds are looking at will be on the move.
Liverpool can sign Joao Pedro
Fabrizio Romano says Brighton are ready to sell Joao Pedro this summer. The Seagulls won’t stand in his way but will ask for a large fee for the Brazilian.
"Understand João Pedro can leave Brighton in the summer as he’s open to new chapter of his career,” Romano wrote on Twitter.
"Premier League top clubs aware of the opportunity for potential transfer fee around €70m, but final decision up to Brighton."
Liverpool are one of those looking at Pedro. Sky recently made it clear that they’ve got eyes on the Brazilian, and he could be their alternative to Alexander Isak, who’s set to remain with Newcastle United.
Should Liverpool move for Pedro, then, he’s very much available - and at a far cheaper price than Isak. The Reds have a real chance here of landing a forward we’re big fans of.
But time will tell if Richard Hughes goes for it. Liverpool have plenty of targets on their radar and Pedro is just one of them.

If they want him, though, he’s there for the taking.
