One of Liverpool's key stars has been spotted in Paris amid transfer rumours linking him with a move away.

There are going to be changes at Anfield this summer. Richard Hughes is preparing for a busy window ahead. It is what is set to be a transformational one for the Reds.

Cody Gakpo spotted in Paris

On Wednesday night, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany has reported that Cody Gakpo could leave Liverpool this summer.

According to the reporter, Bayern Munich are among the clubs looking to sign him. But Gakpo's future may not rest on the German side alone.

The report claims that Gakpo could leave Liverpool regardless of Bayern's interest if the right offer comes in. And that Bayern are one of three clubs Gakpo would consider leaving Liverpool for.

This opens up the speculation to who the other two clubs might be?

There aren't too many sides who have higher prestige than Liverpool. Perhaps Barcelona or Real Madrid might be among them. But neither side are realistically going to make a move for Gakpo.

That leaves Paris Saint Germain as another potential team who may consider the Liverpool attacker.

Interestingly, Gakpo was spotted in Paris on Wednesday as the transfer rumours swirled around his future.

Following Liverpool's title celebrations, the Dutchman was pictured attending the French Open at Roland Garros in the country's capital city.

Obviously, this may just be a coincidence but it is worth noting that PSG star Goncalo Ramos was literally sitting one row in front of Gakpo as well.

The Liverpool star may only have been in Paris to visit the French Open. He could just be a big fan of tennis. But with rumours circulating about his future, it just goes to show that perhaps nobody is safe at Anfield this summer.
