Liverpool ready £100m MEGA offer for their new Mo Salah
Liverpool are ready to sign Mo Salah’s ultimate replacement. It’s not going to come cheap, though.
Mo Salah has been the focus of Liverpool’s attack since he arrived at the club in 2017. The first few months were arguably about Philippe Coutinho, admittedly, but since the Brazilian left? Things have run through Salah.

And with good reason. Salah’s numbers have been absolutely sensational since day one. He’s on his way to yet another Premier League Golden Boot and is now the third-highest goalscorer in Liverpool’s history.
The mad thing is that he’s still performing at the elite level. Salah is in position to win both the Premier League Golden Boot and the Playmaker award this season.
But this hasn’t simply been a case of a player boosting his numbers. The Egyptian has led Liverpool to their most successful period since the 1980s, winning two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup and two EFL Cups.
With more to come, let’s be honest.
Salah, though, is now firmly in his 30s and expected to wind down in some way over the next few seasons. So how do Liverpool go about finding a new star to lead their attack?
With £100m and a lot of hope.
Liverpool move for Florian Wirtz
Liverpool are pushing to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen in a transfer that could cost well over £100m. Fabrizio Romano is one of many saying they’re all-in on this one - and will wait patiently to get him.
And with that, Liverpool hope to sign the future of their attack. Wirtz is, like Salah, a player teams can rely on to provide the magic up top.
He’s been just that for Leverkusen since breaking through as a young player. Wirtz quickly developed a reputation for both goals and assists - and for being the focal point of an attack.
Now Liverpool hope he can provide the kind of focus they’ve had with Salah. A player they can consistently turn to in order to make things happen, in other words.
That’s why they’re willing to smash their transfer record. Yes, Salah is around for two more seasons but the Reds must look beyond that.

At just 22, Wirtz is perfectly place to be the new king of the post-Salah era. That’s the role Liverpool have picked out for him - and we think it’s a genius decision.
