Liverpool star CERTAIN to leave after latest move
Liverpool's forward is now certain to leave as the Reds line-up another move.
There's a full shift in Arne Slot's first team squad at the moment. From new left-backs to an entirely different goalkeeping squad and staff behind Alisson Becker.

And this is before we even start to talk about the situation in attack. At this moment in time, Liverpool have only brought in one or perhaps two attackers.
One of them being Hugo Ekitike, the other is Florian Wirtz who can play in a front three role but is definitely better as a no.10.
However, that is not all Liverpool are planning to do. It's very clear that they want to add another attacker to their list of options.
Who that attacker they want is very obvious as well. The Reds are enamoured by Alexander Isak. He is their dream target.

Now he's made it clear he wants to move on. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Reds are working on a deal to sign Isak.
This does not bode well for one man in the Liverpool squad, that man being Darwin Nunez.
Without the Isak movement, it felt like Nunez might have a chance at redemption. He's been in great form in pre-season and while Ekitike's presence in the squad is a huge boost, Liverpool realistically still need more options in the no.9 position.
That meant there was an argument in favour of keeping Nunez, or at least giving him a chance to prove that he is worth another shot.
However, with Liverpool making a move for Isak, even if it's not guaranteed that they get him, it just confirms they have no plans for Nunez to stay at the club.
This means he's almost certain to leave. Where he will go remains to be seen. European clubs have shown a little bit of interest in him but they have all been deterred by the Reds asking price.
Liverpool are not a club who will budge from their position. They are tough negotiators and they will want to get full value for Nunez.
So, that opens up the possibility of a move to Saudi Arabia. The question there is whether Nunez wants that move so early on in his career?
It's impossible to tell. However, one way or another he will have to leave and it's looking increasingly likely that his only option will be to move to Saudi Arabia.

With the World Cup coming up, he won't want to sit on the bench behind Isak and Ekitike for an entire season. Even playing in Saudi Arabia is better than that.
