For example, Arne Slot's assistant coach John Heitinga has been added to Ajax's shortlist to become the club's new manager, following the departure of Francesco Farioli after a disappointing season.
He will need to be replaced and a number of possible candidates are be assessed to join the Reds if the Dutchman decides to leave in favour of a more high-profile role with more responsibility.
It is now also being reported, however, that a change in the recruitment department has been made.
Liverpool secure ex-Tottenham scout
According to Lewis Steele at the Daily Mail, the Reds have secured a new high-profile asset.
In his report, he says: "Liverpool gave poached Tottenham's Tina Musonda, who joins the Reds as a global talent scout after three and a half years at Spurs and two at Chelsea.
"The bother of former Chelsea youth star Charly, Musonda completed a Masters degree in sport business and leadership, writing a paper on the challenges, complexities and cognitive biases that scouts face in the Premier League."
He will join a network of personnel that spans the globe, searching for the next big thing in football and reporting back tot he club about which players should be targeted for a possible transfer.
In addition to his work for the two London clubs, he also has experience working for RSC Anderlecht and the Belgium national youth teams, focusing on identifying talent for the club's first-teams.
On LinkedIn, where Musonda announced the move, he wrote a statement which said: "I am happy to announce that I have joined Liverpool FC in the Global Talent Scouting department. I am excited to take the next step in my career, and I look forward to contributing to this prestigious football club.
"It was a pleasure to work for Tottenham Hotspur FC during these past four seasons, where we succeeded in assembling a squad that won the club's first European trophy in 41 years."
As such it is clear that Liverpool have secured a scout that is both highly regarded within his community and that has delivered a clear contribution to irrefutable success.

Moving forward, Liverpool will have an expert on board to assist in the identification of new players to consider recruiting and as Fenway Sports Group (FSG) attempt to secure the addition of a second club to create a multi-club model, Musonda will be integral to the success of our future endeavours.
