Liverpool chances of signing 'magician' as Mo Salah's replacement revealed
Liverpool aren't all that likely to have much money left in their transfer war chest after spending over £400 million in the summer.
The Reds were only able to spend as much money as they did due to the sheer number of players they decided to move on.
Some, such as Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah would have been more than useful for the Anfield outfit at the moment with their attack and defence seeming to massively struggle.
However, one player most fans thought would end up sticking around is Mohamed Salah.
But, after what he's said about the relationship between him and Arne Slot, it's not much of a surprise to see reports emerging about Liverpool looking for potential replacements.
Although his sale is likely one of the last things that fans want, his sale could boost the Reds' bank balance to allow them to reinvest into their squad.
Liverpool are not likely to sign Michael Olise as Mohamed Salah's replacement
One player who has been consistently linked with a Liverpool switch over the last year or so is Michael Olise.
The right-winger had the best season of his career with Bayern Munich last term with the former Crystal Palace ace quickly becoming a star man for Vincent Kompany's team.
His talent was obvious when he played for Palace but nobody could have imagined the heights he managed to reach after just one season with the Bundesliga outfit.
And, since he's now proven that he can handle the pressure at a Champions League level, Liverpool have been linked with a potential move with Christian Falk now sharing his thoughts on the transfer situation.
Reporting via his CF Bayern Insider website, the journalist gave his verdict on whether or not a deal for the Frenchman could be agreed upon in the future.
"There were already rumours about Mohamed Salah signing for Bayern Munich, which could then free Olise to go to Liverpool," he wrote.
"No chance on this! Max Eberl made it clear: Salah is not on the list at Bayern Munich.
"He’s too expensive and, though Eberl didn’t say it, he’s too old."
Michael Olise would be the perfect player for Liverpool
Olise, who was once described as a "magician" by Dayot Upamecano would be a perfect signing for Liverpool.
The right winger was one of Bayern's most important players last season with his goal contributions alone often single-handedly earning the Bundesliga outfit points.
He also managed to form a solid partnership with Harry Kane and even though the Reds look likely to move away form their usual 4-3-3 formation in the future, the Frenchman has been known to play across several areas on the pitch.
He'd also be classed as home grown due to his time with Reading and Palace which would be a massive hope for Liverpool's registration issues which saw them initially leave Federico Chiesa out of their Champions League squad this season.
Olise would undoubtedly cost Liverpool a hefty chunk of change but, if they did somehow manage to pull off his transfer, they'd be in a much better place, especially if Salah does end up exiting Anfield.
