Liverpool are reportedly not interested in 24-year-old Leicester City midfielder

Liverpool are not interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to CBS Sports Golazo reporter Ben Jacobs, as cited by LFC Transfer Room's Twitter account.

The Reds were linked with a move for the 24-year-old back in the summer.

However, according to Jacobs, Liverpool will not be pursuing Tielemans anytime soon.

We are disappointed to hear that Liverpool won't be making a move for Tielemans. The midfielder is a good player.

Tielemans has been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.06 in the Premier League this season, which highlights that he does possess quality.

Also, the Belgium international is capable of finding the back of the net. Tielemans scored a screamer against Chelsea in the 2021 FA Cup final.

The midfielder's goal ensured that his side won the match 1-0. Tielemans would have added plenty to the Reds' midfield.

But, according to Jacobs, we won't be seeing the 24-year-old in a Liverpool kit anytime soon.
