Schluter will become Liverpool's fifth signing of the transfer window after securing Armin Pecsi, Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.

Out of the five players, he is definitely the one who we know the least about but Anfield Watch has taken a deep dive to find out everything you need to know about the youngster.

One of the first things you need to know about Schluter is that he is a scouser and he comes from a family of Liverpool supporters, who attended the club's Premier League title parade.

He's also a record-breaker. When he made his debut for Blackpool's senior team in the EFL Trophy he became the youngest player ever to make an appearance for the historic club.

Schluter was just 15 years, nine months and 27 days old at the time. The occasion must have been even special because he made his debut against Liverpool's U21 side.

Playing around 14 minutes in that game, Schluter had 10 total actions and eight of them were successful, including six out of six completed passes.

He capped off that performance by converting his penalty in the subsequent shoot-out after the game ended 0-0.

Although it would prove to be a bittersweet moment. Despite Schluter scoring his penalty, Blackpool went onto lose the game 8-7 to Liverpool in the shoot-out.

Regarded as a special talent, Schluter is already quite tall for his age, and while he predominantly plays on the left-wing he can also play on the right.

In the 2023/24 season, he was voted Blackpool's U15 Player of the Season. Meanwhile, in July of last year, he went on a trip to Berlin to compete in Nike inaugural Speed Games.

The event was designed for young football players to test their speed and agility in a series of challenges.

Impressively, Schluter was the Mens' Winner in the competition, taking home the prize after topping the leaderboard, catching the eye throughout the tournament, including sending an unstoppable shot past Ben Foster in the final challenge.
