An Arne Slot favourite has been offered to clubs as Liverpool plot a surprise sale. This could shake things up.

Teamtalk reports that Cody Gakpo has been offered to clubs by intermediaries ahead of a potential sale from Liverpool. It's said that clubs both in England and abroad have been made aware.

Now, this doesn't mean Liverpool are the ones offering Gakpo out. But it does sound as though something of a green light has been given as interest is sounded out.

Gakpo has been a favourite of Arne Slot's over the last two seasons, particularly in this campaign after Luis Diaz departed. That faith was rewarded with a new contract ahead of this season that significantly bumped his pay - but it seems he may not remain on that contract for particularly long.
