A father has shared Liverpool's interest in his son on social media.

Liverpool are heading into what feels like one of the biggest summers the club has experienced in years. Change is happening everywhere at Anfield, from the dugout right through to the playing squad, as the Reds get ready to start a completely new chapter under Andoni Iraola following Arne Slot's departure.

Bringing in Iraola is a real statement of intent.

The Spaniard has built a strong reputation as one of the most exciting coaches in Europe thanks to the incredible job he did at Bournemouth. He is expected to arrive with several trusted members of his coaching staff and bring a fresh approach that could completely change the way Liverpool play.

In many ways, it feels like the start of a new era.

Iraola's teams are known for their energy, intensity and fearless style of football. They press aggressively, look to win the ball back quickly and attack with purpose whenever they get the chance. It's a brand of football that many Liverpool supporters will instantly recognise and appreciate because it shares plenty of similarities with some of the club's most successful sides in recent memory.

His arrival is likely to bring changes across the board. Training sessions could become more demanding, player roles may be adjusted and match preparation is expected to take on a different look. After a period where many fans felt Liverpool needed a fresh spark, Iraola's appointment offers exactly that.

What's perhaps most exciting is that this isn't simply about replacing one manager with another. Liverpool are undergoing a much broader transformation behind the scenes as well. The club's recruitment strategy is evolving, the squad is being refreshed and a new long-term vision is beginning to emerge.

The appointment of Iraola might be grabbing most of the headlines, but in reality it is just one piece of a much bigger rebuild that is taking shape at Anfield this summer.

There are key players on their way out of the club with Mo Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate all confirmed to have left the Reds.

More could yet follow until the window shuts close.

In their place the squad is being given a fresh look. That is going to see Liverpool become a young team.

We're already seeing unprecedented investment in youth. Liverpool signed the likes of Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Giovanni Leoni and Jeremy Jacquet, who were all under the age of 23 within six months.

Meanwhile at U21 level, has seen Armin Pecsi, Ifeanyi Ndukwe and Mor Talla Ndiaye signed. Meanwhile, Sidy Barhama Ndiaye - who spent two weeks training with Liverpool last summer - is still expected to join the club once he turns 18, unless there is a major change in his situation.

Samuel Martinez has been snapped up from Colombia, and he will join Liverpool in a year when he celebrates his 18th birthday.

Now, Liverpool also appear to be closing in on a move for Xavier Parker, from Manchester City as well as Zack Trinder from Wolves, and Josh Chigwada from Everton. Meanwhile Dara Jikiemi will also likely be recruited from Celtic.

The investment doesn't stop there at youth level. Liverpool are also being linked with a move for Joshua Holme, who is a striker who has caught the eye at Shamrock Rovers, and his father, Jamie, just confirmed the club's interest in him with a social media post sharing the news with the caption: 'couldn't be more proud.'

It's exciting stuff. It feels like Liverpool are building a real dynasty.
